The inspiration behind My Beloved Pet

A few years ago, my beloved cat Silverstar fell seriously ill while I was away in Carmel, California. The painful decision to have him euthanised from afar left me heartbroken. During a walk on the beach with my sister Daniella, I decided to document every cherished memory of Silverstar, creating a personal memorial of his essence in writing.

In time, these written memories became my source of comfort, helping me visualise him and find solace amid profound grief. Then, one morning, years later, Silverstar visited me in a vivid dream. I could feel his fur and hear him purr, replacing sorrow with joy and peace.
